The Quantum EVO with 99 mm last has an edge over other boots because of its innovative, two-part shell and shaft construction made of carbon-reinforced polyamide, and its anatomical fit. It combines an extremely tough, stiff outer shell including a continuous sole plate with maximum freedom of movement for long climbs. An optimised centre opening with a stretchy gaiter makes it easy to get the boot on and off, despite the hardness of the shell. A treaded Vibram sole (rocker) with graded hardness helps the boot hold firm in snow and when climbing, and transmits power to the binding and ski without any play at all.
