Alex led a podium sweep with an incredible final run, scoring 95.75 to claim his 11th World Cup victory in front of an ecstatic home crowd. His winning run included a switch right double cork 1080 Japan and a massive right double cork 1620 leading tailgrab. Fellow U.S. skier Nick Goepper took second place, and Matthew Labaugh secured his first World Cup podium with a third-place finish. Congrats to all the athletes for an amazing competition!
Also, congrats to Birk Ruud for his 3rd place in the Slopestyle World Cup on Saturday.
